Failure to respond to incredibly poor service!
A copy of the complaint I have sent to Fastway, Dunedin, Posted on their FB page and emailed to contact email on website. I have also made phone calls...still no response. We have received no apology, no emails, no phone calls in response to our complaint. Only found out that the parcel was finally delivered as the Otago University person emailed me!!! Not only had this driver held on to our student's application but also the applications of 5 other students from around Nz, all who had sent to ensure that applications were received by the 27th September deadline. Fastway couriers lack of response shows a complete lack of regard, concern or care for their customers!!! Not acceptable in my books!!! Also -who knows what else this driver was or is still sitting on!

To whom it may concern:
I am filing this complaint in relation to a parcel that was sent via Fastway Couriers on Wednesday the 25th of September.

The tracking number for this parcel is: 4A0008155322

This parcel was sent via courier to ensure that it reached its destination in time for a deadline of 5.00pm on Friday the 27th of September. Enclosed in this package is a scholarship application and course application, the deadline for which was the 27th of September.

This deadline has obviously now passed and the student concerned, who is a top scholar at our school has potentially missed out on a scholarship that would have enabled her to attend the Otago University Summer School Hands on Science Programme.

Imagine my horror today, to discover that the parcel is in fact sitting in the courier van of a new driver who could not find the correct address to deliver to so instead of doing anything about it, has simply left this sitting in his van.

This is completely unacceptable and I wonder how many other people have had the same problems. This has the potential to significantly impact on our student and her family who do not have the means to allow her to attend this programme in any other way.

I've always had issues with them specifically, hence why I wish that ppl who use them especially on trademe, will use other couriers. Fastway courier is unreliable, they do not respond to e-mails and when ever I call to check why my parcel has yet to arrive (I live near the Auckland depot, tracking for a whole week stated that it was on board with the driver????)
NO ONE EVER seems to know or even bothers to check what the hold up is. It's always I'll make a note, I wonder who even checks these notes.
Other couriers that have taken longer and I do a check-up, they put me on hold and try to get in touch with the driver (they resolve issues), they apologize for any inconvenience it caused me and boom my package is delivered that same day a few hours after I rang them.

PLEASE IF YOU ARE A SENDER DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT EVER USE FASTWAY COURIERS!!! THANK YOU.

P.S.
They should have named their business SLOWAFWAY COURIERS, so people know not to deal with them in the first place. They don't care about customers or good customer service at all. Seems like people are getting paid over there to slack off!

Fastway has to be the worst courier company in NZ... Every time I miss a parcel from them the 'Track your parcel' service says it's a my local depot, when I call the depot it's never there. Sometimes they just randomly turn up with it hours later?
It would be a very attractive feature on online shopping websites if you could pick which courier they use to deliver.

I bought something off of Trade Me. On Friday it was sent from Manukau to my place Auckland, after 6 days-Thursday, I still haven't received my package. They guarantee I will receive it within 1 to 3 days, their guarantee is worthless.
