Taxi from Airport to Auckland City 
Catch taxi from Auckland Airport to Auckland City 2:00 AM in morning
1. Driver took a long route to reach city.
2. In city also drove to down town and then taken taxi to hobson street.
3. Meter showed NZD78.00 but he charged NZD79.00 + NZD7.00 i.e NZD86.00 in total saying that this is how all taxis charge in New Zealand.
4. Attitude was also very rude and you dont feel safe travelling with him (as if you argue with him and he's gonna hit you hard)

I have caught cabs from the airport to the city and have paid around $50 many times.

Looks like these guys have a habit of blatantly ripping people off. What a shame. That complaint is very similar to yours.
