Trade Me does not deem member satisfaction priority!
Its apparent, customer/member satisfaction is NOT Trade Me’s priority!

When you scour the internet it is riddled with customer/ member dissatisfaction towards Trade Me and its staff – no surprise there!

Ironic, when you consider these customers/ members were happily content in spending their money before being unduly victimised, in some cases at Trade Me;s own hand. Making money for an organisation and its shareholders, who do nothing to deserve such, when explicitly clear that they want to be removed from all risk as sales are completed privately. Trade Me does not seem to care about repeat business from these individuals, again ironic when shareholder/ investor interests are paramount – highlighting the arrogance of Trade Me and its ignorance to business ethics!

Trade Me’s Shareholders and Investors don’t seem too interested in the loss of income as they appear to condone Trade Me’s behaviour having been notified in writing of the following;

· Trade Me cannot guarantee the authenticity of its members.
· Trade Me cannot guarantee members safety and protection.
· Trade Me cannot adequately police its website, when immediately privy to information of an individual in breach of its policies.
· Trade Me cannot guarantee individuals explicit authorization for recording their personal information.
· Trade Me perpetrated a web of deceit rather than telling the truth up front.
· Trade Me confirmed that it was not in their (not the members interest) best interests to warn third parties as this may compromise their trading community.
· Trade Me cannot guarantee what services it provides that warrant payment in the form of a commission for facilitating the sale of 'goods and service', but feels that it is exempt unlike other businesses from adhering to NZ Law.
· Trade Me use words 'trust, safety and authentication' on its website, are these are only to deceive consumers (members) in having confidence in using Trade Me.
· Trade Me content on listing non-compliant and un-certified products to NZ Standards on their online auction website exposing New Zealanders to sub standard products that may compromise their health, safety and well being.

Before long, Trade Me will eventually implode from its own self-importance, arrogance and ignorance towards members safety, security and satisfaction. GOOD JOB they deserve to crash and burn by blatantly ignoring or complying with NZ law so that it can take what it wants from its members without facing any consequences!

What’s to stop us from walking past a store, smashing the glass and taking what we want – morals! Morals that Trade Me does not have!
