Poor customer service(spoke rudely)
This complaint is about the owner(ganesh) of the above mentioned automotive shop. My name is shainaz ali i had an appoinment made by my husband yusuf ali with ganesh the owner for the wof of my toyota estima.we got an appointmet for 1.30pm, thursday, 29th november 2012. I arrived at his shop(14 wall place, tawa) @ 1.20pm. My husband asked ganesh how long will it take and he said 30- 45 mins. So we went from there and returned at 2.15pm. I started loading my boys in the van thinking that the wof is done. My husbans asked him all ok can we go and he replied, " oh is it after 2 i didnt even realise it. He said wait for a few more mins i will do it but i hadnto rush to pick my daughter from school at 3pm. Plus i heard him saying i was so busy im doing a wof of this car that i didnt even check. That means he doesnt check cars n just gives the wof. Also when i got home i rang them again at 4.30pm because i was still upset they wasted my time and my fuel for going that far and they didnt even do their job. SO i rang ganesh n in a good tone i said i came earlier but i didnt get what i came for. And i said i was really angry. He that got angry and instead of apologising for not doing his job on time he started to shout and said, exactly his words" what the hell do u want me to do". I said why are you talking like this, dont you think you should apologise he got pissed and kept on saying what the hell do you want me to do. I said i dont know what can u do thinking he might want to compromise and do something like half price of wof or something good, but he kept on shouting n saying my bussiness is not that big its just a small bussiness so i can't make sure that everything is done on time. Plus he gave us the appointment time and he said they dont give out appointments. Also i said i will do a formal complaint about you and he said please go on.... So here im making a complaint please could you take this complaint further and give me justice. I honestly wouldn't have made a complaint if he didnt use that offensive tone but he has made it worse himslef..i also got a bit angry with him..

Hi There, we have not been aware of this post till now when a good customer of ours informed us. I have no comment to make regarding this issue.I would like to inform that we are a very succcessful business and we have 1700 customer on our customer data base.We have repeat business from all of them when they require service.We try our best but in a perfect world we can't satisfy all the customers.So having 1700 happy customers against one unhappy I think we have been doing quite good in the past 4years in business.Currently we have moved into our new bigger better workshop and business is better then before.Sorry to hear this particular customer was unsatisfied with my service ! I have had a similar experience with this business.

After explaining to them that they had not undergone work on the car I specifically requested, they accused me that there was actually nothing wrong with the car when it came in, and that I was simply upset because of the price of the work which needed to be done to my car.

Incredibly rude - TERRIBLE customer service. If you want a mechanic you can trust and respect, I would suggest that you do not go to this mechanic.

STAY FAR AWAY!! My husband and I purchased a $79 service from treat me and also asked the guys to WOF my car. At pick up I was told 3 components of my vehicle is needs repair and the cost would be $682.00 (keep in mind this is after already paying $132 for a service and WOF that they failed me on). Called Midas to confirm, they bought my car in, inspected it and advised there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with it. In order to be un-biased they sent my car to VTNZ for an independent WOF inspection and I passed with flying colors. To my surprise I was also told that my oil wasn't changed, something that was stated clearly on the grab one deal and being included. Will be contacting them first thing Monday to provide the evidence I've been given from Midas and VTNZ and demanding a refund.

P.s I love how Ganesh only defends - he doesn't read the woman's bad experience, empathize or ask whether there is a way he can makes things right so that she is also one of his "many satisfied customers"- just on the defense. Clearly a lot of skeletons in the closet.

Hi Mike Larry or Suzzie,I would like you to call LTSA here is the number - 0800699000 to get you cal and my creditablity checked as we are not very happy with you swearing at me on your email. We will forward this email with as a police complaint as well.As far as oil change is concerned we will need proof by getting a relevant test done which is posible to check how old you oil filter and oil is but this will cost money to do. We are happy to go that way and after it all is prooven then you will have to pay for the cost's.We have done this before as before. This is the proper way to deal with this.Please let me know if you would like to go ahead ? It's easy to write a reveiw on the internet but its probably hard to face the fact's.

Yes please, I would like to go ahead. Please do forward my e-mail onto the police as I have not sworn at you AT ALL!

I am not calling any numbers to get any credibility checked. That is not my duty. The facts are, your organisation failed me on a WOF that I paid for and advised me my car needs hundreds of dollars worth of work when in actual fact it required none.

I have also found a website review where you have done this to other people. I will be calling GrabOne to advise them to get in touch with everyone who bought your service deal and get them to get a second opinion of the work your staff quotes them. I can garuantee if you did this to my husband and I and a few others who have reviewed you, you would have done it to many others. Please do contact the police, I will be getting my refund.

Let me know how you wish to proceed from here.

Hi Sureca, I have received another email this morning same time as your's regarding samething as you mentioned which had a swear and thought it was related to your's.But yeah we are happy for you to call the LTSA on 0800699000 to move further into getting there view on the wof issue. And also we will need to get the oil and filter issue checked as you have written on the consumer site.If you are not calling the LTSA then I will take this matter forward as I personaly think that is the appropriate to do so.

I would like to inform I am not giving any refund untill proven by law that I have to. Like I said its easy to say thing's on the internet then to face the fact's.

As mentioned Ganesh, disputes tribunal will be in touch regarding getting my refund. GrabOne has also been contacted to investigate with other buyers that used your service. I'm sure soon you will have many, many more disputes. As far as I'm aware there are already 5 within a month and once the lid pops wide open, we will see many more! I am glad you posted my email response online, it clearly proves that I didn't swear at you and that you also have other complaining, to the point of swearing at you to get a refund from this scam. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Hi There, I did not hear anything from the disputes tribunal as mentioned above. Also as mentioned above we didn't have to give any refund's at all. The customer who sent us a threatening email with swear's is being investigated and blocked from our email list. The above mentioned customer complaints are irrelevant and incorrect.I apologize to the general public for any inconvenience. I thank all my customers for the loyal support.

Yep, we've had similar complaints about this business. They have a young guy Deepac do a $79 grab one service for a very good friend of mine. He said not to use them they lie and don't do the job they invoice you for. Ganesh may know his stuff but I doubt whether he can be bothered to work their anymore. He seems to just drive around in his brand new 4x4. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR VEHICLES.

I bought a car in Cambridge and the people are total crooks. They sold me a car with a hairline stress fracture on one of the spokes of the mag wheels. I took the car in for a service and Ganesh was kind enough to book me in at short notice. Upon inspection by the Mechanic Deepac, he brought the fracture to my attention and said this was very very dangerous, which was backed up by Advanced Wheel Services, Tony's Tyre & Firestone in Porirua - One shop said "Who ever sold this car to you need to be shot this is F**Ken dangerous, we're not touching it...you're lucky Metro picked it up!". So when I read these complaints I couldn't just let this go. I've dealt with Ganesh for my 4x4 and other vehicles for over 3 yrs and had no problems what so ever. I don't socialise or know Ganesh and his team personally but sometimes people need a fair go...the people who sold me the car were White Europeans and they sold the car knowing there was a Death Trap, when I rang these european people they went to the Police...and I told the Policeman exactly what they sold me..the Policeman said - "I hope you believe in Karma..coz they will get there's...". Ganesh, thank your boys for looking out for me and my family if Deepac hadn't spotted it Lord only knows when that wheel would have collapsed and flown off the car!!!! IF YOU WANT A PROPER WARRANT OF FITNESS GO TO METRO AUTOS...IF YOU WANT A CHEAP BULLSHIT ONE...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and when the Shit hits the fan you only got yourself to blame for not letting the team at Metro do their job! If you ring they will book you in when they can..NOT when it suits you. I don't mind waiting knowing peace mind that when I drive that car its safe for me, my wife and kids. Cheers BigSyd
