Dishonesty
On 2nd of August (morning) I received a delivery notice for an urgent package at 170 Great South Road, Huntly, courier 145.
I was home at the time but the courier just left the delivery notice.
The delivery notice was dated "1 August 3:55" which is definitely not true as it wasn't there on 1st of August 6 pm when I checked.

The delivery notice has an shorthaul blank sticker over the tracking number and it has instructions to pick up the package from ColorPlus Huntly.

I literally live 2 minutes from ColorPlus Huntly so I went there and I found out they are closed for an indefinite term, at least the next 2 weeks (and may ore may not return in business).

I called NZ Couriers to inform them ColorPlus Huntly is closed (they didn't know) and ask where can I pick my package from.
I was told to go to another town, Ngaruawahia, Wills Automotive. I specifically asked whether my package was there and I was told yes.
I drove to Ngaruawahia and my package was not there.
I called again NZ Couriers and they told me "the courier did not know ColorPlus is closing" and "left the package there" because "they were open in the morning on 2nd of August" which is absolutely untrue: I live there and they were not open at all on 2nd of August and there are notices about them being closed all over their place, so the courier had no way of "not knowing" they are going to close.

NZ Couriers said sorry we can't retrieve your package - which was a very urgent one and of relatively high value.

Based on all the inadvertencies with this deliveries:
- my package definitely can not be at ColorPlus as I was there from 7:30 am to 9 am and it was closed from the night before.
- no one tried to deliver it on the date left on the notice.
- also I see no reason for blanking out the tracking number with a Shorthaul notice that offers no information at all.

I am extremely frustrated and I feel I am told another lie every time I call NZ Couriers, including driving to another town for no reason, and them being absolutely uninformed the only delivery point for whole Huntly area is not functioning anymore. My package (that was supposedly "left at Colorplus" is most probably somewhere else but the driver has a different scenario every time he is asked about it.

Please let me know how this can be sorted out.
