I'd like to lay a complaint about the way Quinovic's business is conducted.

My partner Ryan and I went for a viewing earlier this week for the apartment 2E/245 Wakefield Street. We came prepared with a completed application form, as well as copies of our passports. We had money ready to pay the bond. We have a clean credit record and references from prior landlords. Everything was good to go.

Yet, we were told that they would let us know in a week or more whether our application was successful. I told the agent that with only 3 weeks to the move-in date, that leaves us with little - potentially a week or 2 - to find a replacement for our current place. His response was that the landlord needs time to look for a better deal.

I find this attitude revolting. My partner and I came prepared and we would have signed the lease on that day if we could, but to hell with us because there could be "a better deal".

It's put us off of proceeding with the application because I do not want to be stressed to replace my current place in such a ridiculously and unnecessarily short space of time. I retracted my application telephonically on 23/08/2018.

Quinovic is a disgusting organisation, taking advantage of tenants/potential candidates, milking them dry as much as they can. Quinovic enables this blood-thirsty shark culture by ensuring that the landlords' needs are met before the tenant, regardless of how good the tenant is.

This is cruel and soulless, and the organisation as a whole, including the agents and representatives dealing with tenants personally, should be ashamed of themselves for what they're doing.
