Overcharge 
I was picked up near Viaduct in Auckland city near Victoria st and taken via shortest route to The landing Hotel in Onehunga which should be, there was no traffic etc, a less than $60 ride. The driver charged me $99.40 ...His registration is 40 and his licence said PARAM 40.
I have been assured that this at least $30 more than it should have been.His terminal was 19253512.

That certainly is a big rip-off. This is why Uber is doing so well. This industry needed a shake up.
Did he have his meter turned on though, and if so, did the meter read out that fare? Or is Tap2ride an app and the fare was configured through it?

His photo ID was Param 10 and he had the meter on at rate 2.....I didnt pay too much attention but we went the shortest route
I travelled with Param 10 last night and Parnell to Milford was charged $64!!! Usually $25ish with Uber, maybe about $40 with a reputable Cab. Total rip-off!
I booked an UBER and cancelled it as the Tap2Ride was just sitting there. i was really keen to get hm. He charged me $90.40 from town to Hillsborough. Normally a $35-$45 Trip. Not impressed. Totally ripped off and not happy. Dont even know how to get hold of them to complain directly.
