Complaint #: 294
Being bullied by one Trademe staff
Being bullied by one individual Trademe staff for many months now. Guess I'm not allowed to post her name here.
I need some mental health help now. There is no way to complain Trademe staff, they are pretty much doing whatever they want, the nastiest style.

This staff picked on me, I have no idea why. Long story short.

This individual has been bullying me for many months now and it is still on going, unsolved and no way to solve it.

She kept ordering me to remove my listings told me they were in wrong categories/Duplicate listings, Some were real mistakes when using templates (which of course I have removed/changed), some listings had nothing wrong only that she couldn't/didn't bother to read or lack of common sense of understanding some products. At start I tried my best to be friendly to her and even when she made some extremely stupid orders/accusations and being rude and arrogant, I would still stay calm and explain that this is not what she said.

She just couldn't make her reasons clear. Some times told me that I broke trademe rules by listing same product multiple times, yet I sent her another seller's 14 listings of the same product on Trademe. And Trademe rules said sellers are allowed to list up to 10 identical products at any one time. She then said it's not about the multiple listings, it's about the category we listed in.

The recent listings she said was duplicated listings, two of them were different quantity of the same product, another two were different version of the same design which have been clearly stated in title and description. She didn't bother to read but bullied me to remove them or she would take action toward my Trademe account.

She also ordered me to change one of my pets product from PETS category to ''BINS-Cleaning products'' category said that's the best category. Explained to her the use of this product, sent google links with details of this product. She turned nasty and told me that I must remove them she would not accept any of my explanations.
I had another look at the PETS category and realized that my direct competitor who has a Trademe store (pays extra monthly fees to Trademe), they are listing exactly the same product under the same PETS category as we do, plus that seller is listing this same product in 3 different categories. Trademe told me I could only list this product once in one category (Trademe rules said:you should list the item in the two most appropriate categories. On Trade Me Marketplace, you may have up to 10 listings for identical items for sale at any one time, except for items in the ‘Electronics & photography’ and ‘Sports’ categories, where you may only have one listing per identical item.)

Double standard much?????

She just randomly pops up from time to time and telling me to remove my listings, Threatening of taking actions towards my Trademe account. After so many months of bullying, I have had enough of her bullying. But there is no way to complain Trademe Staffs!

Alright, after sending this person evidence of her double standard rules and telling her I might seek my lawyer's advise (YES, not a joke, I have planned to do that and called to make my booking last Friday), this Trademe staff suddenly said all of our listings are fine now this morning????????????????

However this morning, I wakes up with thousands of listings ''deactivated'' within MYPRODUCTS. The thing is not all of my listings have been ''deactivated'' but some random listings.

As Trademe told me before, there were no errors of MYPRODUCTS and it would not auto ''change'' listings. I believe this is not a MYPRODUCTS error but somebody from inside Trademe did it on purpose?

And I have name here for the suspect.

The thing is there is no way to complain this person to!

How nasty!!!!!!!

I'm not surprised by their actions. They have a history of bullying. And talking to them is like dealing with a donkey on crack. I've had so many issues with them over stupid stuff. The last one was where I had listed a Nissan Bluebird for sale. Someone had given me a deposit and was going to pay it all and finalize the sale in 2 weeks. I accepted the deal but left the listing live and added this new bit of info to it (about the deposit and the car will be available again to offers if sale falls through).

They took my listing down stating that I'm holding the listing space to possibly re-list another car in its place to avoid paying another listing fee. I'm not a car dealer and had no other cars to sell. They could have easily verified that by looking at my sales history. I sold 2 cars over 12 years around 3 years apart each time.

Besides, the listing locks in the make, model and year of the car so I could not sell another car using the same listing unless it was similar make, model and year to the last one. What are the chances that I had two 1996 Nissan Bluebirds to sell at the same time?

So, so THICK!
