On the 3rd October 2020 my whanau were charged incorrectly by Central Court Motel in Whangarei. On the Central Court Motel website https://www.centralcourt.co.nz/rooms.html
advertises their Delux 2 bedroom Unit. As shown on the above link that the deluxe room has 2 bedrooms - 2 single beds in one bedroom, 1 queen size bed in the other bedroom, and 1 single bed in the lounge. This motel room was perfect for my family of 5.

I am questioning the amount that we were charged according to what we had read online. We believe we should have paid $205 for our accommodation. Instead we were told we had to buy 2 separate motel rooms and charged $335.

The Delux room has maximum occupancy of 6 people according to the website that we saw. The reason the owner charged us for 2 motel rooms was that they had changed the website on booking.com one month ago to read '3 people occupancy only' for the Delux 2 bedroom unit and that they hadn't changed their other website.
The owner said that they changed only the booking.com site. We didn't look at booking.com website for this motel.

We were in a rush to get to a rugby game on arrival to the motel but we did question the owner about why we had to pay for 2 motel rooms, when we could have fitted into one motel room.

On arrival back to the motel I spoke with the owner about the above matter and showed her the website https://www.centralcourt.co.nz/rooms.html
That's when she told me that they had changed it one month ago on booking.com.

We are not happy with this.
