12 months notice cancelling, lost $160
I booked a book a batch, I was a regular every holiday we had for 4 years we used this company. I had a 5 star cleaning rating, (which gave me a small discount from some holiday owners), We had exceptional payments, always paying before due. Always left properties as good as we found them. Spend plenty of time cleaning. The last time we used them, as they no longer deserve our patronage, we booked 12.5 months in advance, and had to cancel a couple of weeks later due to some changes and this particular batch was too far away from those changes. So we cancelled and lost the entire $160 deposit, even though it was 12 months notice and we know that the cabin was rebooked in a month later. Both book a batch and a man named Shaun McCleary that owned the batch at Foxton refused to be honest, give information OR return some or all of our money. I NEVER use them now. My partner and I always stay in motels.
