Taxi driver charged me twice
So last night 21st march around 3 in the morning me and my partner were in Auckland CBD struggling to get an Ola/Uber so we decided to get this taxi instead. When he finally got to our destination I used his eftpos machine to pay for the fare (which was $49.39, unusually high but wasnt really that fussed about the price) then the first time I payed I used pay wave and he was holding the eftpos machine facing him and he said “it didnt go throughâ€. So I tried paying again then apparently it “went through†this time so we hopped off his taxi. Looking at my card transactions when I woke up, this taxi driver charged me twice! I didnt get his REGO or anything, he didnt have an ID displayed on his taxi as well. Would anyone know what taxi company does tap2ride? Would really like to get atleast half my money back.
